In our mission to guarantee the highest standard of travel for our kittens, our company has established partnerships with select airlines that offer prompt responses and solutions according to the destination country’s regulations.

Aeroplanes have dedicated climate controlled, pressurised compartments that are designed to keep their animal passengers comfortable and safe. Each kitten travelling with the air transfer option comes with a new airline-approved crate.

During the journey, the Kittens are provided with food and water. Having said that, the cat might still be thirsty after arrival, so please make sure to give them something to drink as soon as they are taken out of the crate. The bottom of the crate is lined with a thick layer of paper to absorb any in-flights accidents and keep the cat clean and dry. During its travels your kitten is regularly inspected by an animal professional who cleans up the accidents and assists the Kittens with whatever is needed.

Airline Approved Crate

During air travel, KittenGuru.com complies with IATA rules and regulations, which most airlines comply with.

In case you opt for the Air Travel option, your kitten with travel in an airline approved crate, provided by us free of charge, that must fulfil the following conditions:

• The crate must be big enough for the kitten to lay down, sit, stand and turn.
• All parts of the kitten’s body, including the paws, limbs, tail and muzzle should be in the crate without exception.
• The crate must be durable in order to minimise damage and possible injuries.
• The crate must be designed to prevent leakage.
• Sedating the kitten is strictly prohibited, as due to pressure drops and altitude changes might cause unpredictable behaviour and pose a health risk.

Free ISO Microchip

All kittens purchased through KittenGuru are equipped with an ISO microchip with a unique 15-digit code. The components of the microchip are contained within a sterile, biocompatible glass capsule. The purpose of the ISO microchip is to identify the owner of the cat, in case of loss or theft.

After scanning veterinarian doctor needs to provide the following information:

• Date of Birth of the Kitten;
• Sex of the kitten;
• Cat Breed;
• Colour;
• Personal details of the owner
• Phone number of the owner.

Many countries have a responsible approach to the issues of pets’ upkeep, so animals must have an implant. By using a chip certificate – ISO 11784, 11785, your kitten can cross the state border because this is a full-fledged passport. The unique number remains assigned to the cat for life. Its details are saved into the database of a worldwide electronic system by the veterinarian. The microchip is usually implanted under the skin and works for 25 years. The chip doesn’t show the cat’s location.

Furthermore, there are animal friendly areas with a designated veterinarian in most international airports. The staff at these airports will examine, feed, water, exercise and take care of your kitten.

Kitten Vaccination Schedule

All cat breeds have associated health issues, and ethical breeders everywhere do their best to minimise the chance of hereditary diseases being passed down. That being said, all kittens must be vaccinated to prevent any illnesses and infections. Complying with the vaccination calendar is a must to minimise the possibility of fatal outcomes.

The deworming process readies the kittens for their vaccinations. It is carried out twice with a 10 day interval in between.

The main aspect of preparing an animal for the introduction of a vaccine is deworming. It is carried out twice before vaccination with an interval of 10 days. It also does not interfere with etching fleas and ticks before this and passing tests to make sure that the pet is completely healthy.
