About Ragamuffin Cat breed
Description
Develop from the Ragdoll, the Ragamuffin is large and muscular, with a deep chest and rectangular body. Despite their large size, these cats are very cute and appealing, with their broad heads, large almond-shaped eyes, and fuzzy rounded ears. Their whisker pads tend to be “puffy”, as are their cheeks, and their necks are broad. The Ragamuffin has a broad, strong body, with sturdy legs and round paws. The tail is long and fuzzy, with a plumed appearance.
Look
Ragamuffins have medium to long fur, with a dense, silky texture. This silky texture; similar to the fur of a rabbit; means that their coats do not tangle often. Most Ragamuffins will be able to groom themselves easily, though you can brush your Ragamuffin once a week to remove any loose hairs. The Ragamuffin comes in a wide variety of colours and patterns. Ragamuffins can be any solid colour (such as black or red), or they may have stripes, spots or patches of white, black, blue, red, cream, chocolate, lilac, cinnamon, seal brown or a mixture of colours. Ragamuffins often have blue eyes, or may have differently coloured eyes (called walls eyes or heterochromia).
